Lorin was born in Prov. R.I. and raised in Greenwich, CT. She cut her musical teeth on N.Y. radio, guitar-playing-b/fs & Newport Folk Festivals. She left college for the Haight, married a folk singer and had four children. She moved to L.A., divorced and kept writing. Her ability to weave orig. poetry into various formats: blues, folk, jazz, and C&W has endeared her to music lovers of all ages.
